Redevelopment Authority District Improvement Plan

The Redevelopment Authority created this District Improvement Plan to help stimulate growth and to provde a guide to the various decision-making boides of the community regarding development initatives within the boundaries of the Redevelopment District. The RDA members used the recommendations and information compiled from other community studies to develop goals and strategies that they felt would complement the efforts of other organizations and committees within the community. The purpose of Community Development is to provide various resources for business retention, expansion and recruitment. The department further strives to promote Brillion's high quality of life and opportunities for growth.



City of Brillion Annual Growth Report

The City of Brillion Annual Growth Report is produced as an effort to analyze growth variables and figures to determine if Brillion is capturing its proportionate share of growth. Information contained in this report will then be the foundation in which to measure the results of Community and Economic Development initiatives in the City of Brillion, and ultimately be the basis for all future economic development efforts. By providing this snapshot of Brillion's economic situation, the City can identify perceived trouble spots and strategically work to address those issues.

Downtown and Gateway Design Concept


As a result of the plan implementation, the RDA contracted with Schreiber-Anderson Associates, Inc. of Madison to create a downtown design and gateway design concept. This was an objective to meet goal#2 of the plan:

To establish the parameters and elements for which to aim all redevelopment decisions. These parameters must be effectively communicated to the City of Brillion, and be the foundation for all activites and projects set forth hereafter.
