Library Services

Curbside Pickup
Libraries are permitted to provide curbside pickup, but we must comply with strict rules to protect the health of library staff and patrons! We have an important request to make of all of you. It's been difficult for all of us to be isolated, but we need you to resist the temptation to catch up with staff or your fellow patrons as you arrive/depart. We cannot provide this service unless everyone complies with social distancing requirements.  Social distancing is essential to protect the health of the public and library staff as we provide this service. Thank you for your cooperation on this important matter!

Pickup service is available on Monday (4 PM – 7 PM), Tuesday & Wednesday (1 PM – 4 PM), Thursday (10 AM – 1 PM), and Saturday (9 AM – noon). You may start requesting materials this link   (which is also on the library homepage) or email anytime and via phone. We are not limiting the number of items requested per library card at that this time. Appointments are scheduled in ten minute intervals. Pickup service will be rescheduled in case of inclement weather. We are not permitted to provide pickup service in the library vestibule.

You may schedule a pickup time (and request materials) at this link: https://forms.gle/5vAX75RoNt1SihF4A  (which is also on the library homepage. We are not limiting the number of items requested per library card at this time.

Option 1
You may request items as you normally would via the library catalog, wait to receive a notice that the materials are at the library, and then complete the hold curbside pickup request form or call/email the library to request a time.

Option 2
Call or email the library to request holds to be place on materials. Once you receive a notice that the materials are at the library, you can contact the library (phone, email, or curbside pickup request link on the library webpage) to schedule a time.

Option 3
Request materials via made via the pickup request link on the library homepage, but do not request a pickup time. (You may leave that question blank.) Once you receive a notice that the materials are at the library, you can complete a new curbside pickup request to schedule a time.

We prefer that you wait to receive hold notices to schedule a pickup time. Materials are being delivered within the library system only three days per week, and materials are quarantined for 72 hours after arrival. We appreciate your patience! The phone and text notices are working!

When you schedule curbside pickup, you will be asked to provide your name, phone number, library card number, car model and color, and (if items are waiting) schedule a pick up date and time. Patrons are expected to call the library when they arrive to pick up their materials. Please wait in your car! Staff will place the materials on the designated table outside and will signal you to pick them up. Patrons are expected to take the materials from the table. Staff will not collect materials being returned. All returns should be placed in the book drop. We can only provide pickup service if we maintain the mandatory six feet of social distancing. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding!

We are excited to provide this new service to you and ask for your patience as work out any unforeseen issues! The hours the service is provided may change to adapt to demand. Please follow our Facebook page and website for additional details and updates.
