The Calumet County Land Information Office (LIO) is the coordinating office for all land records activity in Calumet County. The LIO administers the development and maintenance of the enterprise-wide geographic information system (GIS) for use by the federal, state, and local governments, as well as utilities, the private sector, and the general public. The Calumet County Land Information Office is one of the most progressive and advanced in the state. The LIO's top priority is to make high quality land records data easily accessible to the public by way of the internet. At www.CalumetMaps.com anyone can access our powerful online mapping application as well as many other custom mapping applications. Much of the original GIS data (in shapefile format) is freely available for download there, along with many of the most requested pre-made maps and map books.
